General Information

We are proud to work with some of the finest craftsmen in the business to produce our beautiful handmade cars, built in the UK. 


All Baby Racers are powered by a highly efficient fully electric power unit which gives up to two hours running from a single charge. All models are restricted to a maximum of 12.0kph (7.5mph) and with their high torque motor are capable of driving up a 1:5 gradient. 


We would be delighted to ensure your Baby Racer is always running at its peak performance by offering a comprehensive maintenance service. It is recommended your Baby Racer is serviced each year. We also offer a full supply of spares should you ever wish to upgrade your Baby Racer. 


All Baby Racers are sold with a minimum one years warranty on all components, this can be extended providing service intervals are maintained.

Additional Information

Baby Racers was founded by Russell Thomas in 2020 while on a break between work due to the Coronavirus restrictions. He has a good pedigree in engineering having worked in F1 motorsport and automotive design for almost twenty years after graduating with a Masters of Engineering degree. 


The interest in vintage cars stemmed from growing up in a family of car restorers, his father Roger Thomas founded and runs the successful vintage car restoration business, Classic Restoration and Engineering, who have specialised in pre war MGs and Bugattis for over forty five years.  


Initially just two Baby Racers were designed and manufactured for Russell's children. Interest grew after taking them along to vintage car events, so now a limited run of just 25 of each model are offered for sale.  


Every Baby Racer is unique and the combination of customisable aspects is almost endless, each car is hand built to your exact specification.
